Enable or Disable Flip 3D in Windows 7

Type gpedit.msc in Start Menu Search Box and hit enter to open the Group Policy Editor. Go to Local Computer Policy > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Desktop Window Manager as shown below.

Open Properties of Do not allow Flip 3D invocation and set it as ‘enabled’. Click OK. Close.

Open the Registry Editor. Navigate to the following key: Right click on the ContextMenuHandlers key, and select New. Click Key. Now name the new registry key as Windows Switcher. Now for this key, in the RHS pane, double click on the Default value name and set the value data for the key as Click OK. Exit regedit. On the Desktop right click and in the context menu you will see an option as ‘Windows Switcher‘. That’s your Flip 3D switch! In Windows 10/8, things are different. Now the operating system uses the Win+Tab hotkey to display the new switcher on the left side of your screen and is useful to switch between your Windows Store apps.
