You need to double-click on this setting and select the Enabled option.
Click the OK button and close all the windows. At last, restart the Zoom app on your computer to get the change. If you want to revert the change, you need to open the same setting in the Local Group Policy Editor and select the Not Configured option.
How to disable Zoom Apps feature in Windows 11/10
To disable the Zoom Apps feature using the Registry Editor in Windows 11/10, follow these steps: Let’s check out these steps in detail. First, press Win+R, type regedit and click the OK button. If your computer shows the UAC prompt, click the Yes button to open Registry Editor. Following that, navigate to the following path: Right-click on the Policies, select the New > Key option and enter the name as Zoom. Then, follow the same steps to create a sub-key named Zoom Meetings under the Zoom key. After that, you need to repeat the same steps to create another sub-key named General under Zoom Meetings key.
Once the General key is created, right-click on it, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it DisableZoomApps.
By default, it comes with a value data of 0. You need to double-click on it and set it as 1 to disable the Zoom Apps feature.
At last, click the OK button, close all windows, and restart your computer to get the change. If you want to revert this change or get the Zoom Apps feature back, you need to open the DisableZoomApps REG_DWORD value and delete it from Registry Editor. For that, right-click on it, select the Delete option and click the Yes option to confirm.
How do I stop people from entering Zoom?
You can use two options or features to stop people from entering Zoom – enable Allow only signed-in users to join and Require a meeting passcode. If you enable the first feature, Zoom won’t allow users to join when they are not signed into their Zoom account. It will help you block guest users from entering your Zoom meeting. If you enable the second option, all the users require a passcode to enter your Zoom meeting. You can share the password with only trusted people that you want to join.
