Stop Photos app from showing OneDrive images
If you are using a Microsoft Account account to login Windows 10, then the Photos App, by default, displays all images saved to OneDrive account and residing elsewhere on your PC. But you can change this and make it not display the OneDrive images. To do this, launch Windows 10 Photos app. Choose the Menu (visible as 3 dots) and select Settings.
Next, move to the Microsoft OneDrive section and turn off ‘Show my cloud-only content from OneDrive’ account option as shown in the screenshot to stop the Photos app from showing your images from OneDrive. Alternatively, if you are using a Local user account on Windows 11/10, you can configure Photos App to showcase OneDrive pictures. For this, Simply, open the Photos app, go to Settings and in the Microsoft OneDrive section, move the slider to enable ‘Show my cloud-only content from OneDrive account’ option. Instantly, the OneDrive sign-in dialog will pop up. Enter your OneDrive sign-in details and hit the sign-in option. Finally, select if you would want to see images from OneDrive pictures folder or all folders in your OneDrive account. The page, in addition to the images, will display the currently used space and the total amount of space available in your OneDrive account. That is it!
