The app QuickHide.exe runs in the background. You can see it in the Task Manager, but will not be displayed in the notification area.
Hide apps, open windows & icons in Taskbar
To Hide Processes, Hit either Right or Left CNTRL key on the keyboard.
To Show Processes, Hit either Right or Left SHIFT key on the keyboard. To exit the application, Hit the END key on the keyboard.
QuickHide v1 has been created by Lee Whittington for The Windows Club and was released in 2011. Although it has been developed for Windows 7, it works on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 too. Let us know if you have any questions.
